Goddess Exchange New Orleans is the third installation to the Goddess Exchange. On the 5th day of Kwanzaa December 30, 2015 we gathered in the spirit of NIA- Purpose to discuss mental illness in black women at Community Book Center. Scheduled to release this year.

Artist of Color Meet Up Edinburgh, Scotland August 2015
As a part of the conversation on race, colorism and activist art, Pursuit of Nappiness founder, Shaina Lynn hosted two meetups for Edinburgh Festival Fringe artists of color. The event aimed to bring together artists and participants of the festival to promote visibility in their practice and engage in the experience of being a person of color at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. As a participant in this year’s festival, Shaina focused on creating a greater dialogue around race and art-to develop a global network of artists that lasts beyond the few weeks of the festival.
#2 The second meetup was hosted in coloboration with the Endinburgh Festival Fringe at Fringe Central, Appleton Tower, Edinburgh EH8 9LE in the Concourse Room on Saturday, 29 August 2015.

Cupid & Coiled: A Natural Hair Love Affair February 2013
Guest leisurely interacted with beauty professionals. We hosted along with Natural Night Out, an open mic for women to share poetry and short stories about their natural hair self love pursuits. And enjoyed performances by our featured artist AKOKO & Talibah Safiyah.
